Greg Ivan Smith (Director, Screenwriter, Co-Producer, “Errol”): The award-winning The Back Room marks Greg's debut as both director and screenwriter with OneTakeFilms. His second film, the horror short Remission, is finished and making the festival rounds!
Smith just worked on the Richard Waterhouse-directed short Respect for Acting (Assistant Director & Script Supervisor), starring Dan Butler. Other recent projects include The Housetaurant, directed by his co-producer Dustin Schell (First Assistant Director & Script Supervisor), and the upcoming features Dirty Twin (Assistant Location Scout), and The Escape Artist (Production Assistant). He is currently circulating his first feature-length horror script, Slab, and finishing his next screenplay, the character-driven Getaway.
Smith holds an MFA in Acting from The American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, CA. Acting credits include Gross Indecency directed by Moisés Kaufman, and Cymbeline directed by Bart Sher. For an acting resume, click here.
